I know I am what most identify as "feminine." I will use this word in this entry as how majority of people stereotype what something means to be feminine. I have studied enough body language, vocal technique, and people’s quirks to know that pretty much EVERYTHING about me is feminine. My mannerisms, the timbre of my voice, my facial structure, etc. The only thing that isn’t feminine about me, is how I feel. I don’t feel, what I believe the common tongue refers to as, feminine.
So now that I am a blonde, that means I need new head shots! I had such a great time shooting these. I knew exactly what I wanted to achieve and I think they came out perfect. Thank you to Emily, my beautiful and kind girlfriend, who took these for me with all my equipment from my own photography studio.
I wanted my first look to be one that was really similar to my current brown haired headshot, so that casting directors could kind of relate me with blonde hair to me as a brunette. This look is for strong leading ladies, a little sexy, a little sassy, and kind of my all around Musical Theatre photo. When I took my brown hair headshot with Isaac James Creative in LA in 2013, I borrowed my roommates top. But now, she isn't my roommate and I don't have a red top! OH NO! No worries, I said to myself, I’ll just photoshop it later. And I did! (that red dress is actually blue)
